Our concept impressed the client and was applied by us using spray paint onto the massive corrugated iron facade of a workshop hall.
Tens of thousands of people pass this 200 square meter wall daily on the Berlin S-Bahn, regional trains, and ICE. To visually engage this audience, we designed the graffiti advertisement to be simple, quickly recognizable, and with large, easy-to-read lettering.
The harbor anniversary event was a resounding success with 15,000 participants, and our artwork played a significant role in its triumph.
The project was coordinated by the Berlin PR agency Bernd.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design of Cologne-Ehrenfeld Station
As part of the North Rhine-Westphalia state's station enhancement program, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us for the artistic conception and design of Cologne-Ehrenfeld Station. Our goal was to develop an identity-forming, site-specific graffiti concept that highlights Ehrenfeld's cultural diversity while honoring the district's industrial history. Through a clear conceptual approach, both tunnels of the station were to receive their own distinct themes, yet still form a stylistic unity.
Concept and Implementation Description
For the first tunnel, we created a surreal world in the style of Salvador Dalí. An expansive chessboard draws viewers into its depths, creating an atmospheric vastness that visually opens up the narrow space of the tunnel. Embedded in this scenario are surreal-looking cafés, floating clouds, abstracted musical instruments, and dynamically painted breaker figures. These elements reflect Ehrenfeld's vibrant cultural character: subculture, music, creativity, and the district's multifaceted, lively café and street art scene.
The second tunnel deliberately addresses Ehrenfeld's industrial past. In a Steampunk style, we designed a complex network of pipes, gears, machine fragments, and steam-powered mechanisms. This imagery recalls the era of industrialization, when Ehrenfeld was characterized by factories, workshops, and craftsmanship. The style combines nostalgic aesthetics with futuristic accents, thus creating a visual bridge between past and present.
Both tunnels were executed to a high standard by our experienced team of artists. Silicate facade paints and professional acrylic graffiti spray cans were used to ensure both durability and depth of detail. Finally, both large-scale mural works were treated with an anti-graffiti protective coating to ensure long-term cleanability and preservation of value.
Success and Reception
The artistic redesign of Cologne-Ehrenfeld Station significantly enhances the entire area. The surreal expanse of the first tunnel and the powerful Steampunk aesthetic of the second create an extraordinary station experience that impresses both visitors and commuters. The design conveys Ehrenfeld's identity in all its facets – from vibrant subculture to deeply rooted industrial history.
The station thus becomes a place where urban art, cultural diversity, and historical significance can be experienced within a cohesive graffiti concept.

Graffiti artists created the concept and wall design for the newly opened social department store in Monheim / Rhein.
The non-profit organization "SKFM Monheim e.V." operates kindergartens, youth facilities, assisted living, and much more, including a department store for affordable second-hand goods.
This department store reopened in 2024 at a new, significantly larger location compared to its previous downtown store.
As part of this, we were commissioned to create an eye-catching, colorful, and inviting graffiti artwork to give the new location an appealing visual presence right away.
The vibrant and lively graffiti design immediately provides a significant enhancement to the corrugated iron building. It conveys joy, positivity, and a quick overview of the various items offered by the department store.

The historic event hall of the Kölner Gartensiedlung was already used for celebrations in the Roaring Twenties. For a period, it also housed a large Cologne music studio.
The hall has now been newly restored. In this context, Goodlack created a mix of a mural in the style of the Twenties and self-formed elements installed into the overall design.
These installations are so-called 'Grinköpfe' (grimace heads), originating from the Middle Ages and still visible on many historic buildings in Cologne.
To add even more festive ambiance to the artwork, we installed lights under the 'Grinköpfe' and on the columns, which immerse the piece in a beautiful atmosphere. The wallpaper is also from that era and was applied by us into the painted work to create an additional layer.

The architecture and urban planning firm Pässler Sundermann und Partner commissioned us to design the interior hallway walls of a new residential building in Leichlingen with a continuous graphic that extends from the basement to the 4th floor. The goal was to create an artistic representation of the transition from the earth to the atmosphere, which incorporates the corporate design of the building complex and integrates seamlessly into the architecture.
The challenge was to plan and implement the 15-meter-high and 3-meter-wide graphic so that it could be seamlessly transferred to the hallway walls. To achieve this, the graphic was first digitally divided into segments, and precise stencils were created using a cutting plotter. These stencils allowed the stylized shapes to be transferred onto the wall accurately and with sharp edges.
High-quality wall paints were used as materials, meeting the aesthetic and functional requirements of the building. Particularly interesting: The same graphic is also featured on the building's balcony railings, creating a consistent, design-oriented language throughout the entire complex.
The finished wall design combines utmost precision with artistic aspiration. The seamless execution and the clear, sharp lines of the graphic emphasize the building's modern character and significantly contribute to the aesthetic enhancement of the interior space.
Our client was delighted with the outstanding quality of the work and the harmonious interplay between the wall design and the architectural elements. This project sets new standards for creative interior design in modern residential buildings.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design for a total of twelve train stations.
As part of the station upgrade program by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us with the artistic redesign of Cologne Hansaring station. The goal was to develop an identity-creating graffiti concept that reflects the character of the district and directly appeals to the local population. The station was to receive a visual experience that is both unique to the Hansaring location and remains part of the overarching, stylistically uniform design of all project stations.
Concept and Implementation Description
For the Cologne Hansaring location, we opted for a design-oriented concept that deliberately integrates typical elements of Cologne's Eigelstein district. This traditional 'Veedel' (district) is characterized by vibrant street culture, historic architecture, and an open, diverse neighborhood. To convey precisely this sense of life onto the platform, we combined graphic elements that subtly capture the atmosphere of Eigelstein with dynamic depictions of dancing people – a strong symbol of community, zest for life, and the district's lively cultural scene.
While the figurative motifs were executed in a photorealistic style and serve as central eye-catchers, backgrounds such as 'Veedel' typography, abstracted architectural fragments, and graphic lines were deliberately designed to be modern, minimalist, and harmonized in color. This creates a compelling dialogue between reality and graphics, generating both recognition value and contemporary urban expression.
For the on-site implementation, we collaborated with two renowned graffiti artists from Cologne, who authentically deepened the local connection and contributed their artistic style and 'Veedel' expertise to the overall concept. The large-scale design was realized using high-quality silicate facade paints and professional acrylic graffiti spray cans. Finally, the entire mural received an anti-graffiti protective coating to ensure long-term cleanability and value retention.
Success and Reception
The new graffiti mural at Cologne Hansaring station significantly enhances the location and directly transports the open, energetic atmosphere of the Eigelstein 'Veedel' onto the platform. The vibrant, joyful motifs create an inviting place with a strong local identity. Commuters and visitors now experience Hansaring not merely as a transport hub, but as an urban cultural image that showcases the joy of life, community, and the diversity of Cologne.

For the grand opening of the 'Die flotte Krabbe' rehabilitation center, we successfully completed a comprehensive graffiti project in Remscheid. Across a total interior wall area of 150 m², our artists implemented a customized design concept. The goal of this project was to visually enhance the rehabilitation center's premises with high-quality facade and interior art, creating a child-friendly, anxiety-free atmosphere.
Every graffiti project in Remscheid begins with detailed planning. In close consultation with the client, we developed the 'Underwater World' theme. Since the rehabilitation center specializes in aids like wheelchairs for children with disabilities, the emotional impact of the colors was paramount. The result is a vibrant, maritime scene that breaks away from the clinical character of a medical facility and impresses with its artistic quality.
For a graffiti project in the medical sector or retail, the choice of materials is crucial. For the project in Remscheid, we exclusively used high-quality interior spray paints that guarantee maximum color intensity with minimal emissions. This professional form of wall design not only offers protection against dirt but also sustainably strengthens the rehabilitation center's brand identity.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design of Dortmund University station
As part of the North Rhine-Westphalia state's station upgrade program, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us to develop an overall artistic concept for Dortmund University station. The goal was to create an identity-forming graffiti project that reflects the academic atmosphere of the campus and conveys a sense of research, knowledge, and inspiration to students and visitors alike as soon as they step onto the platform.
Concept and Implementation Description
For Dortmund University station, we chose a central motif directly connected to the world of learning, research, and teaching: oversized, photorealistically painted books. Each of these books features titles of specific academic literature from the degree programs taught at the university – from engineering and computer science to economics and social sciences. This monumental depiction creates visual landmarks that are both aesthetically impressive and establish clear thematic links to the university.
The background was deliberately designed in the style of a classic blackboard: white technical drawings, formula diagrams, and sketches on a black surface. These graphic elements evoke lectures, laboratory work, and technical designs, forming a dynamic contrast to the vibrant, photorealistic book motifs. The combination of realistic and graphic design elements creates an inspiring learning atmosphere that underscores the scientific identity of the campus.
For the implementation, high-quality silicate facade paints and professional acrylic graffiti spray cans were used to ensure precise detailing and long-term durability. Finally, the entire artwork was sealed with an anti-graffiti protective layer, allowing unwanted markings or dirt to be easily removed.
Success and Reception
The large-format graffiti design transforms Dortmund University station into a striking, welcoming entrance to the campus. The monumental books symbolize knowledge and progress, while the technical blackboard elements visualize the university's innovative strength and research orientation. The result is an artistic space that inspires students, researchers, and visitors, making the station a visually powerful component of the university environment.
