Commissioned by the Protestant Church in the Rhineland, we undertook an art project aimed at honoring important figures from regional church history. We created a total of four portraits, which were painted at the main administration of the Protestant Church in Düsseldorf.

Objective and Implementation:

Our goal with these portraits was to highlight the significance and impact of these influential church representatives. Through careful artistic work, we created stylistically realistic depictions that appropriately represent these personalities.

We used high-quality acrylic paints to create the portraits at the headquarters of the Evangelical Church in Düsseldorf. Through detailed execution and deliberate use of contrasting colors, we succeeded in portraying the subjects authentically and expressively.

Success and Feedback:

The portraits of the "Rhenish Church Leaders" were very positively received by the church leadership and visitors. The paintings convey respect and appreciation for the depicted personalities and contribute to strengthening the identity and tradition of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design of Niederdollendorf station

As part of the station upgrade program of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us with the artistic redesign of Niederdollendorf station. The goal was to develop an immersive, illusionistic painting concept that atmospherically and visually reflects the location with its immediate proximity to the Rhine.

Concept and Implementation Description

For Niederdollendorf station, we designed a photorealistic graffiti concept that transforms the station's pedestrian path into a walkable pier leading to the Rhine. The illusionistic painting creates the impression of stepping directly onto a wooden jetty, while the riverside landscape of the Rhine opens up to the left and right. This depth effect transforms the previously functional passage into a spacious, nature-like experience.

On both sides of the tunnel, a detailed Rhine panorama unfolds: boats glide across the water, seagulls fly overhead, gentle wave movements add dynamism to the scene, and bollards and anglers on the bank create authentic everyday situations. The photorealistic execution of these elements intensifies the illusion, making the boundaries between tunnel architecture and landscape scenery almost disappear.

For the implementation, our team used high-quality silicate facade paints and finely tuned acrylic graffiti spray techniques to achieve the necessary precision, color depth, and realistic lighting effects. A final anti-graffiti protective layer ensures long-term preservation and facilitates the cleaning of potential dirt.

Success and Reception

The new design of Niederdollendorf station creates an impressive, immersive experience that goes far beyond mere wall decoration. The photorealistic illusionistic painting brings the Rhine into the station, transforming the passageway into an atmospheric, open scene perceived by travelers as inspiring, friendly, and inviting. The project demonstrates how commissioned artistic graffiti can transform functional infrastructure areas into high-quality, identity-forming spaces.

For the UNIREHA Clinic in Cologne, Goodlack Facade Art designed the children's training room. There, children train their muscles and movement sequences using state-of-the-art equipment, some of which is also used by NASA for astronaut training. To convey the appropriate feeling to the children, we designed the entire room as outer space, with the training equipment integrated as space stations.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design of Lennestadt-Meggen Station

As part of the North Rhine-Westphalia state's station upgrade program, our team was commissioned by Deutsche Bahn AG to develop a site-specific graffiti concept for Lennestadt-Meggen Station. The aim was to highlight the region's scenic diversity, historical features, and industrial tradition, transforming the station into an identity-forming, culturally anchored place.

Concept and Implementation Description

For the design of Lennestadt-Meggen Station, we combined defining regional elements into a clearly structured, visually powerful overall image. Key monuments and characteristic buildings – including the church and other prominent structures – were rendered in a photorealistic style, forming the main focal points of the design. The surrounding mountains and the natural landscape of the Sauerland were incorporated as a calm, atmospheric background, creating a harmonious visual environment.

A special motif is the historic headframe, which symbolizes Meggen's mining history. Its depiction creates a direct link to the region's industrial identity and recalls the formative eras of local development. The concept is complemented by the integration of graphic elements, warning signals, and abstracted track structures, which on one hand generate dynamism and on the other visually reflect the functional character of the station.

Another highlight is the inclusion of regional symbols such as the town's coat of arms. It was subtly but clearly integrated into the overall composition, strengthening the sense of identity for both travelers and residents. The surreal pyramids serve as a deliberate element of surprise – a graphic stylistic device that lends artistic freedom to the design and attracts viewers' attention without overshadowing the regional context.

The implementation was carried out using high-quality silicate facade paints and professional acrylic graffiti spray cans to ensure maximum detail, durability, and color brilliance. All surfaces were finally sealed with an anti-graffiti protective layer, allowing graffiti and dirt to be easily removed.

Success and Reception

The new design of Lennestadt-Meggen Station creates a significant visual enhancement, combining nature, history, mining, and modern graffiti art into a coherent overall experience. The combination of monuments, landscape elements, the headframe, graphic structures, track motifs, and warning signals conveys regional identity, dynamism, and cultural depth. The result is a station that is not only functional but also offers visitors and commuters a visually impressive, identity-forming environment.

Goodlack Facade Art designed this beautiful new facade in Cologne. In collaboration with the homeowner, who is also an artist, we installed three golden sculptures in addition to the facade art. We also incorporated tile art objects by the Ehrenfeld artist "Kachelis" into the mural. Mural painting plus sculptures plus mosaic art creates a real eye-catcher…

Graffiti Commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti Design of Erftstadt Station

As part of the North Rhine-Westphalia state's station enhancement program, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us to develop an identity-creating graffiti concept for Erftstadt station. The aim was to highlight the region's unique characteristics and enhance the station through modern, clear visual language.

Concept and Implementation Description

For the design of Erftstadt station, we combined regional motifs, dynamic graphic elements, and scenic views to create a harmonious overall image. Key landmarks of Erftstadt were depicted in a photorealistic style, forming the visual anchor points of the mural. These motifs immediately convey a sense of place and strengthen the identity of commuters and visitors.

The Erft, as the river that gives the region its name and a defining landscape element, flows as a curved line throughout the entire wall design. Its flowing form connects the various pictorial areas and serves as a visual guideline, leading the viewer through the scenery.

The motifs are complemented by large-format, oversized cyclists – a deliberate reference to Erftstadt's extensive network of cycling paths and the significant importance of bicycle mobility. These figures create movement and dynamism, while also reflecting the region's active lifestyle. Graphic curves and modern lines connect trains, landscapes, and landmarks into a coherent composition that is both regionally distinctive and contemporary.

For the execution, high-quality silicate facade paints and professional acrylic graffiti spray cans were used to ensure depth of detail, color brilliance, and durability. All murals were finally coated with an anti-graffiti protective layer, allowing dirt and grime to be easily removed.

Success and Reception

The artistic redesign of Erftstadt station significantly enhances the visual appeal of the entire area. The combination of regional landmarks, dynamic landscape motifs, trains, graphic curves, and impressive cyclist figures creates an inviting and identity-forming overall image. The station becomes a place that convincingly connects regional character, mobility, and urban graffiti art.

The renowned Cologne-based B and B Tire Service commissioned us to artistically design their wall located directly on the main street. The goal was to paint the mural in such a way that people driving past on the main street could quickly grasp the advertising message.

Client and Project Brief Description

The renowned bakery chain "Schollin" planned a stylistically appropriate overall artistic concept as part of the extensive renovation of its branch in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The goal was to create individual graffiti murals for the three different interior areas and the entrance gate.

Objective and Implementation Description

Our graffiti artists developed a customized concept for each of the three interior areas:

  1. 1930s Flair: One area was designed in the style of the 1930s.
  2. Graffiti Art with Graphic Elements: Another area combined graffiti art with graphic elements.
  3. Street Art Look: The third area received an urban street art design.

In addition to the wall paintings, we integrated sculptures (such as a half table) to give the graffiti artworks a three-dimensional depth. Antique objects like an old pram were cleverly incorporated as decoration.

Success and Feedback Description

The artistic wall painting at Schollin Bakery proved to be a great success. Here are some of the positive aspects:

  1. Atmosphere and Customer Loyalty: The different graffiti styles lend a unique atmosphere to the bakery's interior areas. Customers feel transported back to a specific era or enjoy the modern street art design. This contributes to customer loyalty and makes the visit a special experience.
  2. Visual Appeal: The colorful murals are eye-catching and attract customers' attention. Passersby become curious and enter the bakery to view the artworks up close.
  3. Three-Dimensional Elements: The sculptures and antique objects add an extra dimension to the graffiti artworks. They break up the wall's surface and create an interesting depth effect.
  4. Social Media Presence: The bakery's exceptional design is shared on social media platforms. Customers post photos of the murals, leading to free advertising and increased reach.
  5. Brand Identity: The artistic design reflects Schollin's values and character. It highlights the company's innovative spirit and creativity.

Overall, the graffiti artwork not only enhanced the bakery's appearance but also enriched the customer experience and positively positioned the Schollin brand.

The waste containers were once eyesores in the otherwise beautifully adorned settlements of the "die Ehrenfelder" housing cooperative in Cologne, which were decorated with flowers and plants. Therefore, we were commissioned to develop an artistic concept to enhance these waste containers. Our vision was to integrate the unsightly blocks into the streetscape, making them blend in. We extended the paintings of the plants and flowers growing next to the containers, thus beautifully incorporating the containers into the overall scenery. The residents were very grateful.

Graffiti commission for Deutsche Bahn AG / Graffiti design for a total of twelve train stations.

Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned us to create artistic concepts for its train stations as part of the North Rhine-Westphalia state's station enhancement program. The goal was to design identity-building concepts with which the local population could identify. Due to the respective local connection to each location, all graffiti designs for the 12 stations were to be individual, yet still show commonality and recognition value through a uniform stylistic implementation.

Goal and Implementation Description :

The motifs we chose are intended to convey a sense of the city as soon as one enters the platform. Local landmarks were depicted in detail in a photorealistic style, serving as eye-catchers. Backgrounds such as the city's skyline and its coat of arms, however, were kept in a subtle, graphic style, further enhancing the sense of identity.

Our team of 12 graffiti artists worked on a total of twelve train stations using high-quality silicate facade paints and acrylic graffiti spray cans. All large-scale artistic graffiti murals were sealed in the final step with an anti-graffiti protective layer, allowing any potential defacement to be easily cleaned.

Success and Feedback Description :

Thanks to the colorful and vibrant graffiti designs, the train stations have undergone a radical upgrade. They convey joy of life, positivity, and regional connection, making the stay at the station a pleasant experience with much to discover.
